Alright. I have been promising these photos for my mom for a couple weeks.
Paul and I decided to actually add a few pieces of furniture to the house. Say good bye to some very old nasty looking couches. FINALLY get a table that can actually fit the entire family and then some. and of course one extra piece that my hubby liked alot. although it was Not what we were shopping for! ( let the record show. that my hubby is indeed an impulse buyer!) But I was okay with the Armour I love that I can hide all of my Hubby's electronic stuff! and if we decide to, put in my bedroom. . . it can do that to!
First is my table. with the leaf in. I love this piece!( the flowers deserve mentioning as well since they are from my hubby he surprised me with when I was sick. and he had gotten when he went to do the grocery shopping for me.)
The leather couches are similar to the set downstairs and are perfect for our family. easy wipe up!
the coffee table. and end tables I liked out of all our options. I like the modern edge it has. and the frosted glass in the middle. now I have to concentrate on bringing a bit more color in the room to make sure it doesn't have a "cold" feeling and too much black. But I like it and has helped a bit with some style. ( which is better then the NO Style that we had going on)
we still have a long way to go... but hey it's a start!
I will post my room that I had just painted here soon. It has helped alot and looks tons better! I am glad I finally have it done. ( better then the primer and test patch I had going on for over a year!)
Its nice to FINALLY have something that has some flow in our house and style to our humble abode!
So here you go. What do ya think?

Could I possibly be any more jealous??? I want to buy new furniture and I want to paint too!!! I love it, I love it!!!
Yea! It looks so great!
I cannot even imagine buying real furniture at this point. It seems like it'd be super scary to invest so much money into something you hope the kids won't destroy within a week or two, and that might (gulp) last at least 10 years! and will you like it that long?
Congrats on the purchases- I can't wait to see 'em!
