Happy Easter

This weekend we got to spend some time with Paul's parents. We call them Queenie and G'pa. The kids sure had a lot of fun with them!! We took them around a little bit to show them some of South Bend. then we took them to the History( for Queenie) and Studebaker's ( for G'pa) museum I don't think they could have put a better combo of museums in one building for these two! It worked out perfectly.G'pa drooled over the cars. ... Queenie drooled over the history museum. We then spent Sat just hang'n out. and G'pa and Paul went on a fix it spree through the house. They fixed my sink that was leaking pretty bad. And my sprayer etc, etc! G'pa showed him lots ! and was kind enough to add a few necessary tools to his tool box. they fixed my tub and my piano stand and my outlets. Jameson had ripped one of the outlets clean out of its socket!! It was fantastic. And I am so happy to FINALLY have those take'n care of! Mostly we just hung out and let the kids torture them. Zoey sure took a shining to them. And G'pa took a special shining to her. IT was cute and I was glad that she was willing to be social with them.

Queenie surprised the kids with new spider man sheets for there beds. and bright fun circle sheets for Zoey's they were all so fun. and the kids were excited to sleep in there new spider man stuff! We spent Easter Dinner over at Paul's cousins house Peiter. they were kind enough to let us invade and feed all of us. they have 6 kids 4 teenage girls and two young boys J and E had fun playing with them . Food was excellent. Thanks again Peiter and Dawn it was fantastic!

Easter was great for the kids. they all recv'd new Sunday clothes. and wore the ties that Queenie had brought for them. and they loved to color Easter eggs. and wanted to do 3 more cartons!!

I was glad they came and got to know and connect with the kids. It was a great visit. and we loved having them here!!!! we will have to work on seeing more then just once every 2 years!

update... obviously by the picture of Jameson's arm he broke it. . it is casted all the way up past his elbow to avoid the turning motion( like turning a doorknob) he will have it checked in 5 days to see how it is feeling. then will be on for another 3 to 4 weeks.

He chose black for the black spider man... the nurse who was wrapping it was so cute with him that she offered to put a red stripe around it. like the red spider man. so he has both on. and it is too cool! lot of people have signed it of course. and he is still very proud of it. IT is still a pain to bathe him and change clothes. that thing is just so bulky!

I posted tons of pictures so make sure you scroll all the way down.

and I am now going to do alot more updates since I promised my mom I would post pictures of my new furniture so she could see.

Hope everyone had a great easter!

I think I could go on a history tour with Queenie. I'm so into history right now, especially church history! Sounds like the kids had a good time with the grandparents! :) Give Jameson a kiss for me... to help his arm feel better! It always works with Simon! I think my kisses are magic for him! :)

Sounds like you guys had a nice Easter. Ours was pretty hectic but we're going up to the old man's castle this weekend for Easter Dinner. Jamison's cast is pretty cool. I hope he's doing alright.
