Fiesta, fiesta
ariba.ariba!
Well we had a fun time! We went to a dinner party at our Friend Katie's house. It was very Mexican night. Enchilada's, Chips n Salsa. and lets not forget the Margarita's. She even did the salt on the edge with a lime. Oh so festive. and quite cute actually. I decided that my friend would indeed be the crazy lady drowning in her umpteenth margarita. Since I swear she made about 8 of them. I was good after one and 1/2. to cold and tart for me! They Had two other couples there. and it was a good time. IT was not however easy to find something that every one could eat. one couldn't have any kind of meat. thanks to it being the month of Lent. and the other can't have anything with wheat.( allergy.) SO I had to figure out something to bring for the meatless and the wheat less.( you don't think that's a big deal. think appetizer that doesn't have either of those items. that's Mexican style!) Surprisingly it worked out!!! There were no kids which was fantastic. just grown up talking and laughing. and then Katie drowning herself in another margarita!( scary!)
I thought it was a fantastic Idea to have dinner party grown up style. My hope is getting my yard in order and doing a lieu( damn I can't spell luau?) with a bunch a couples. But my yard has a long way to go! someday. I need some more idea's so I can entertain people.
SO thumbs up for Mexican night. Way to go Katie. ( no, don't go celebrate your success with yet another margarita....crazy margarita lady.)
Now all of your freak'n out. rest assured.. non alcaholic mix was used. ( altho' by the way things were going last night. and the way Katie was downing them I do have my doubts. )It was fun to get to know some different couples. They were all tons of fun!!
I was going to spit out some cool Spanish phrases to go with it. but of course I can't remember anything cool to say other then the lame ol Ariiba crap.
so never mind.

Those mexican fiesta's can get a little out of control, I know...I always use the phrase at out house "crazy mexicans" because that would refer to all my in-laws. Keed in mind...love them all, but all crazy and party hard! Too fun, I am glad you had a fun weekend, sometimes it's muchly needed!
Sounds like so much fun! Sorry I couldn't make it...my invitation must have gotten lost in the mail! :) Basically anything would be fun with no kids though! Maybe next time you could play "burglars" ("Real burglars? Real burglars! The kind that wear strippy sweaters and buster browns".) :) If you don't remember where the quote comes from I am very disappointed in you!
Ay, no puedo creer que mi hermana es una borracha! Is that quote from Drop Dead Fred that Lou wrote? our numbers are 801-588-9516 (Bryce) and 435-760-4850(lisa). I gave them to Paul Sunday but I'll give them to ya again. Give us a call whenever.
Hi Stacey! Your kids are sooo adorable! It's fun to see all the pics! Tell "teeth" I said Hi!!!!
And, I remember the quotes! "She squished my head! The mega-beast SQUISHED MY HEAD! BEEEE GONE EVIL ONE!!!!!"
