Last night I was getting Zoey ready for bed. I decided to take out her french braid. It was falling out anyway. I was running my fingers thru it and while watching T.V. Well, I pull my hand away.. And I still have a HUGE chunk of hair. And its not attached to her head!!

My first thought was. Did I pull that much out with her elastic?.. No, that is too much... Then I thought.. Is she losing her hair or something?.. Still WAY to much ..So I started searching for the patch of scalp that surely would have been left behind.. I found it.
Middle of her head.. on the Right side. Just to the right of the occipital Bone... Large CUTS were clearly evident.
She had CUT her hair!! And left MAYBE a 2-3 inch of hair in it's place!
I was so mad. I couldn't believe this has really happened..( I guess I spoke to soon the last time.)
Needless to say she was in MASSIVE trouble last night.. MASSIVE. ( there was a good chance she was going to have cobwebs from being in the corner for as long as she was.)
I can't do anything to fix it.. nothing. It's hidden .However, It was such a large chunk that you can tell when you look at the bottom of her hair. It so stringy and of course it looks like it's missing a CHUNK!!! SO pony tails in a bun will be the look of choice until it grows long enough that I can at least bob her hair.( this is where I wish her hair grew fast and was super thick.)
Darn Kid scissors! Clearly those will have to go high up.( oh, wait I did that already.) Not that it will do any good.( J-man has too many H.W. projects to just throw them away.) I'm hoping I made a big enough deal out of it last night she won't even DARE to do that again. ( I have a feeling this is taking over her marker obsession.)
Oh.. Dora the mermaid got a good chunk out of her hair too... ( why couldn't JUST Dora take the hit this time?!!)
Don't think I was laughing.. I wasn't. these pictures were not taken till about 30-45 min after I found it.( hence why she is still crying.) I need proof of these antics. So when they all get older and claim they never did this or that.. I have proof.( also will answer why my eye permanently twitches.)

Oh Stacey, I can't even imagine how I would react if Jasmine did that. All I can say it's -SORRY-and remember hair grows back.
She is adorable even when she is in trouble!
That little twit. Are you sure there was not an accomplice? Around the back of the head and quite a chunk to work on getting throuh....
On the bright side. It is winter....lots of cute beanies and hats for her to wear. Braid it and keep it for her. Too bad you're polenisian instead of indian that would have been cherished item on a cerimonial dance stick. If you have withdrawals doing fun things with girls hair, I have two that I would be happy to donate :)
Girl I feel for you and you saying that you cant do anything with it really means something since you are a kick A#$ stylist! My girl is in big trouble.
Holy Crap! That is quite the chunk of hair. My girls have cut thier own hair before but NEVER like THAT. Oh, I am so sorry. I am amazed that you were calm enough, even 45 minutes after the fact, to take pictures. I hope she learned her lesson. Good luck.
everyone will hate me for saying this, but you should tell her the NEXT TIME she cuts her own hair, you are shaving ALL of it off. and then you have to really stick to that. LOL. i told jenna that ONCE and it cured her forever.
HaHaha!Wow, that was a huge piece of hair! Sorry to laugh, but you have to admit that it is kind of funny! If my daughter did that, I'd be ticked to, but as least it is something that will grow back! I'm sure you did let her know to never do it again. She is cute crying there, but at least she is crying, so you know hopefully she feels bad!
ohh...I am sorry. That stinks. But like it has been said before..It will grow back.
Nice docutmentation of the pictures. I like all the angles.
Don't be mad if I'm laughing really hard right now! I think she is soooo going to give you guys a good run for your money! Man she's cute!
