Man, Can I just tell you how lost I feel with out my card reader for my camera!!! I feel every post needs a picture and I my reader has dissapeared!
I tried to do it the USB cable way but for some odd reason it didn't work..So until I get Paul to look things over or BUY ME A NEW CARD READER!!! my blog is pictureless and this does not work for me.
But I'm going to update anyway.. since I'm sooooooooo far behind.
KIDS
Kids have started school and have been in for about a month now.
Jameson in now in 3rd Grade & has Mrs. Medich Paul and I refer to her as professor Trelawny from Harry Potter She has the coke bottle glasses and a hippie feel to her.. she also talks in a soft yet flighty voice. And seems to have different method of teaching... I'm a little nervous about. I think Paul and I are really going to have to pay attention to how J-man is doing and what he is learning and if he is being pushed hard enough... since she lets the children "guide her". So far Jameson is really liking his class. But I have no faith in this teacher what so ever.. and personally I think she's a cracker.
She threatened Jameson if he didn't turn in his mo. calendar he would have to go to after school detention.. I informed her my son will not serve A.S.D for a missing piece of paper.( especially a pointless calendar where all they do is put an X on each day.. .LAME) Her method to me seems chaotic and unorganized. SO we guess a lot of what she really wants from him. So like I said we are watching her close and if things get too crazy I guess we'll deal with it however necessary.
But thus Far Jameson is happy and likes her. I've yet to be impressed.
Ethan is in FIRST Grade. And has Mrs. Moore. This was not the teacher I was told he would have at the end of last year. But talking to her I think she will be very good for him and has lots of years of experience working specifically with kids with ADD and reading problems. which makes me very relieved and grateful. I was especially more appreciative of her when she told me... "You know I work 36 weeks out of the entire year.. there is no reason or excuse that I should not give it my all for these kids in those short weeks I have with them." I wish Other teachers had the same attitude. Ethan is loving it.. But does get overwhelmed by all the work and expectations that is required of him. Luckily, this teacher believes in high praise and rewards SO he works hard to get his daily sticker so he can pick a prize out of the box. He also insists on getting a 100% on EVERYTHING and takes it personally if he doesn't. ( a.k.a MELT DOWN!)
But so far I am loving her and so is he.
Zoey has just started Pre-school, in fact her very first day was today. She has Mrs. Monsereee whom I know a little about since my friends kids had her and LOVED her. She goes three days a week in the morning. And she has been looking forward to it since the boys started school!
She was soo excited to go! When I dropped her off, I walked her in.. reassured her I would be back in time to pick her up when the teacher told her it was time to go. She said" ok.. you need to go now mom!" She walked in with confidence like she had done this a million times!! I must admit I was a bit sad. Not crying sad.. but just weird feeling sad.. And it's only preschool! She just looked soo big. OR maybe I just thought she would be a bit more nervous about leaving me... And I should know better then to expect that. But she loves it and being my typical Zoey THRIVES in the social atmosphere.. Oh she also strutted where ever she went because she thought she looked so pretty. ( well..she did look pretty cute.) But strutting? really?
And now I have three morning a week til about 11:30 to do whatever.... I think I can get used to that!!!!
Paul- Paul has started crack'n down on studying for his CPA exam. ( it hard to focus if you don't have to.) He thinks he should be able to get all the sections done in about 9 mo. He was wise and took off the mo. around the time I'm due. So I can rely on him when the baby comes for a mo. or two. But I know he's serious this time since he has already paid for the exam and has a study partner. And believe me the CPA is no small fee!! so he HAS to study and he HAS to pass!
after this he really will be all the way thru. ( yay.) So I think I can suck it up for awhile. ( hopefully.)
I plan on doing my 1/2 way there pregnancy post next where I plan on posting hideous pictures of my fat lil self along with all my gripes and moans!! Well time to jump on ebay for a card reader.

I had no idea that CPA stuff took so long. I was thinking a couple of weeks would do it. Holy cow! You're a tropper!
Umm...I think I'd probably go postal with Jameson's teacher. Good luck with that.
Glad Ethan has a good teacher and thats really impressive that she has such a great attitude.
Zoey reminds me of my Brooklyn. She did something very similar on her first day of preschool. Too funny. Enjoy your solitude. And I'm looking forward to your next post. I always completely avoided cameras when I was pregnant so good for you for being willing to post pics.
